Web site design
The cost of designing web sites can vary considerably.
Simple uncluttered designs using text and images are fast and inexpensive
to produce. Simple sites can have multiple pages and will cost more than
simple one page designs as they take longer and have more elements.
All our web sites come with the following features
as standard
- Uploading of files to server –hosting
and domain names can be arranged at extra cost
- Backup of Web site onto CD
- Scanning/optimisation of client supplied
images or insertion of library supplied images into the design. We are
not a graphic design company but can design logos or simple images for
you. We can supply a variety of background graphics
- Editing and proof reading of client supplied
text
- Optimisation of pages for viewing at different
resolutions
We can incorporate the
following into the site on request at extra cost
- Hit counters (both visible or for owners
use only)
- Audio files for special effects
- Internal and external hyperlinks
- Feedback and contact forms
- Guestbooks, polls and forums etc
A Typical inexpensive site may have
One or two pages
Integration
of graphics/backgrounds/banner. We can supply your images or you can supply
your own eg logo and we can scan your images for insertion into the web
page
Editing
of client supplied text or text insertion direct. If you supply us with
the text you wish to insert in the main content areas this can be typed
into the web page or you can supply typed script or on disc
All relevant
internal and external links - if you have more than one page they will
need to be linked together with a navigation system
Backup of site
onto CD - you can have a copy so that you can view it off-line for possible
alteration/updates
